Al Tayer stressed that the opening of the 2020 route to the public comes after the completion of all operational tests and experiments that were carried out in four stages: "static testing" for train cars and systems, "moving test" on the track and without passengers, then pilot operational tests, in which the efficiency of performance was demonstrated. The entire system (System Reliability), and to make sure of the stability of the operational systems (System Stability), and fourth, the operational tests were carried out by the train service operator, to verify the readiness of the operator before the actual operation of the service.

He added: The first metro trips will start from Jebel Ali station to Al Furjan station and back, on the days from Saturday to Wednesday at five in the morning, and the last trip at 12:00 at night, while the first trip will start on Thursday at five in the morning, and the last trip at the hour. One is after midnight, and on Friday, the first journey begins at ten in the morning, and the last trip will be at one o'clock in the morning, and the journey between Jebel Ali station and Al Furjan station is approximately six minutes, indicating that the interchange time between trains will be every 10 minutes. His Excellency the Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors stated that the authority has allocated 19 transportation buses, operating on the four stations, to facilitate passenger access to and from the metro stations, as it has allocated two lines for public transport buses at the Gardens station, two lines in the Discovery Gardens station, and two lines in the Al Furjan station.
