Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - After he is said to have driven a counterparty for miles on the hood through Frankfurt after a dispute, dragged him along and injured him, a man is standing before the Frankfurt Regional Court from this Friday.

The 27-year-old defendant is charged with attempted manslaughter and dangerous physical harm.

It is about an incident from August last year that began with a dispute in Frankfurt's train station district. After the later victim jumped on the bonnet, the defendant is said to have driven him to the Bockenheim district and partly dragged him along, according to the prosecution. The 26-year-old victim suffered serious injuries and has been paralyzed since then. The jury chamber has scheduled six trial days until mid-February.
