The Covid-19 pandemic has claimed the life of Donato Bilencia, one of the most famous mass murderers in Italy, as he confessed to committing 17 murders.

Pelancia was serving a total of 13 life sentences for a series of murders committed between October 1997 and April 1998, most of them in Liguria (northern Italy).

Bellancia was unable to explain his crimes to psychiatrists, but he said he had had a severe migraine before every crime.

He was convicted by a Genoa court in April 2000 of 13 murders. He was imprisoned for the first time in Genoa and then transferred to Padua, where he died at the age of 69.
