18 December 2020 From 24 December to 6 January Italy will be the red zone on holidays and the day before and the orange zone on working days.

It is the orientation that emerges, according to what is learned from government sources, from the summit of Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte with the majority heads of delegation and Minister Boccia.

It would seem approved the pass for two non-cohabitants in the 'red' days - they will be able to move only for visits to close relatives, with self-certification in tow - as well as the green light not to 'count' the under 14 if accompanying their parents while they move to a visit to grandparents or close relatives.

In the afternoon the meeting, convened by the Minister of Regional Affairs Francesco Boccia, with Regions, Provinces and Municipalities to discuss the new restrictive measures in view of Christmas.

Health Minister Roberto Speranza will attend the summit, which will also discuss the vaccine plan.

The decisions of the Council of Ministers are expected in the evening, convened for 6 pm.
