The leader of the PP, Pablo Casado, has accused this Friday the chief executive, Pedro Sánchez, of "cowardice" and "incompetence" for not applying common criteria on Covid-19 before the Christmas holidays and "hiding again" behind of the autonomies.

After lamenting that "a united nation has 17 plans for Christmas", he has spoiled the Government that wants to give only "the good news", such as the arrival of the vaccine in Spain, leaving the "bad news" for the presidents of autonomous communities.

This is what the president of the

has pronounced

in an economic act on European funds, held in La Coruña, in which the president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, also participated.

Previously, he has visited the Ría O Burgo to demand that the Government fulfill "its word" in relation to "the dredging of the estuary as budgeted."

In his speech, Casado stated that the Xunta de Galicia has the full support of the PP in the "courageous, responsible and thoughtful" measures it has taken against Covid-19 and stressed that these months Núñez Feijóo "has shown his face" , "He has been humble, he has given thanks and asked for forgiveness."

"It is just the opposite of what Pedro Sánchez does," he emphasized.

"A united nation with 17 Christmas plans"

At this point, Pablo Casado has indicated that it is being seen that at this moment "a united nation has 17 plans for Christmas" and that the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, "appears today" to talk about the vaccine.

"For the good news, the Government comes out. For the bad news, that the regional presidents manage to do it," he denounced.

Casado stressed that it would be "good" for the Executive of Sánchez to apply "common criteria" in Spain, "with the margin that each autonomous community has an incidence of contagion, different characteristics in the productive sector, in mobility, in the age of the population or the capacity for care in hospitals ".

"But there will have to be some points in common so that at least we know how to handle ourselves and we do not have to be with a map of the affectation of Christmas depending on whether your parents live in Valencia or if your children are studying in Galicia," he insisted.

That said, he has ensured that the Government has not applied those common criteria due to "cowardice" and "incompetence", and has accused him of "hiding again" behind the autonomous communities when "it seems that there may be outbreaks."

Sánchez "is not up to the challenges"

In this sense, he stressed that "one thing is co-governance and another misgovernment", and "one thing is collaboration between Administrations and another is the cowardice of the first of the Administrations".

After "70,000 deaths in Spain", he said that "Spaniards deserve respect" and that the Government "show its face" and offer solutions in a "humble and responsible" way.

Pablo Casado has affirmed that the Executive "is not up to the challenges" that Spain has, but is "more concerned" about its "internal problems".

In his opinion, Spain is a "great country", but "the government is not doing well" and the Spaniards "are beginning to realize their incompetence, arrogance and lies."

"It cannot be that while the ministers of the PSOE are fighting with the ministers of Podemos, the Spanish are abandoned," the president of the PP has denounced to demand "responsibility" from the Executive of Pedro Sánchez.
