The large-scale cyberattack affecting several government departments in the United States represents a "serious risk".
This is what the US agency in charge of cybersecurity believes.
President-elect Joe Biden has expressed his concern about this hacking that affects the federal government, local governments, but also the private sector.
Donald Trump, the incumbent president, however, has so far made no comment.

It is a statement that contrasts with the silence of the White House.
Donald Trump, who has not attended any security briefing since the end of October, has not said a word about this vast computer hacking operation attributed to the Russians.
Since his defeat, the president seems especially focused on contesting the ballot and denouncing massive fraud that has never been proven.

Republican Senator Mitt Romney has also denounced the "
silence and inexcusable inaction of the White House
" about the massive cyberattack of which the United States is the victim.
This morning Donald Trump notably tweeted “

”.

But nothing to do with the ongoing hacking: it is a reference to interference from Moscow during the presidential election four years ago.
