The teacher at the Applied Technology High School in Falaj Al Mualla and the supervisor of the implementation of the device project, Engineer Bahaa Al-Din Sheikh Saleh, said: “The students: Rashid Yahya Al-Ali, Zayed Abdulaziz Al-Awadi, and Sultan Jumah Bin Khufoun implemented the project to contribute to facilitating life for those without hands, during their activities Daily ».

He added that the device consists of a box that contains controls, water pumps, mouthwash and disinfectant, and sensors installed at the bottom of the box that work by means of sensors (sensors), and while the user is next to him, the device works, especially when he places his right leg under the right sensor, and then water is pumped and then a substance Medical cleaning then water back to the part to be cleaned, and when you move the left leg the device stops.

Saleh mentioned that the device, which took five months to implement, has the feature of self-cleaning, as the hot water pump and sterilizer work for a certain period of time to ensure complete sterilization of the device, as soon as the user finishes using it, pointing out that the device should only be used by one person.

He pointed out that when adjusting the height of the device, a tool installed on the box holder is used that is proportional to the size and height of the user, to provide comfort during operation, and the device also includes a suction pump that works to draw the excess fluid into the user's mouth during the cleaning process.

He added that the three students participated in the device in the "Think Science" competition, and obtained the status of "Advanced" and the approval of the jury.
