The Organizing Committee of Qatar's National Day, which falls on December 18 of each year, ensured that health sector employees and their families were at the forefront of attending and participating in the national march, believing in the great role they played during this year, and in honor of those who are called the "white army." , And a nice response to all the efforts made.

The Qatari National Walk was led by a march represented by members of the Hamad Medical Corporation, the Primary Care Corporation, the Qatar Red Crescent and other Qatari health institutions, wearing the medical uniforms of each institution, in a picture that the attendees of the march had not been used to before.

The national parade is an annual tradition on the National Day, where all the military and police sectors participate in a military parade attended by the Emir of the state, and it is held on the Doha Corniche with great popular participation, but this year, popular participation was limited to families of the health sector in implementation of the precautionary measures related to the Coronavirus.

Nasser Saeed Al-Nuaimi, Vice President of the Quality Sector at Hamad Medical Corporation, General Coordinator of the National Path of the Health Sector, expressed his great happiness with this participation in the vicinity of the military sectors in the country, considering that the health sector's invitation to this occasion sends him a message that the state sees and appreciates its efforts, and that the time has come to honor .

Al-Nuaimi added that the health system in Qatar was able during the past year to prove its ability to face crises by its victory over the Corona virus, considering that the State of Qatar recorded one of the lowest death rates from the virus in the world, stressing that this is due to the unlimited support that the state provided to this sector not since the beginning Corona pandemic, but for a long time.

The General Coordinator of the National Health Sector March indicated that the participation of the health sector today in the national march is a true translation of the saying that the white army is the first line of defense for the state, stressing that the health sector in Qatar has demonstrated its strength and success in facing the Corona virus.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera Net, Qatari journalist Moza Al Ishaq described the atmosphere of participating in the national march as "a patriotic atmosphere and pride in organizing despite the health conditions the world is going through," explaining that all precautionary measures have been applied to protect all participants in the march.

Al Ishaq added that the participation of the "white army" in the national march "added a new patriotic touch to this year's National Day celebrations," considering that this participation "is a touch of loyalty and had a great impact on souls."

She explained that during her participation in the national march for 15 years, she finds that the celebration differs from year to year according to the circumstances the country is going through, so the spirit of solidarity prevailed during the past two years due to the political conditions that accompanied these celebrations, and in this year the participation of the health sector came To give a new flavor to the celebration.

After the health sector march, the various military teams of the armed forces, the Amiri Guard, the Internal Security Force "Lekhwiya" and the Interior Ministry forces passed in front of the main stage.

The military parades on the ground were preceded by paragliding parachutes in the sky of the Corniche and above the towers, in which paratroopers from the armed forces and the Internal Security Force participated, where the paratroopers made many performances, raising slogans of support and congratulations on the occasion of the National Day.

The Qatari National Day, which is organized this year under the slogan "We thank you, O Throne," is the anniversary of Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammad bin Thani, founder of the State of Qatar, assuming power in 1878.
