Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - In Hesse, more than 1000 doctors have registered to work in the corona vaccination centers.
A first list of 850 contacts was issued to all centers on Friday, said the State Medical Association in Frankfurt.
Hundreds of other medical professionals would answer the chamber's call every day.
The centers are currently being built in numerous locations.
According to the state government, there should be a total of 28, for example in sports or commercial halls, in Frankfurt for example in a trade fair hall, or in convention centers such as in Darmstadt or Wiesbaden.
It is still unclear how many doctors will work there in total.
