Freiburg (dpa / lsw) - With the third win in a row, SC Freiburg wants to ensure more calm before Christmas.

"We are aware that we have a great chance," said coach Christian Streich before the last home game of the year against Hertha BSC on Sunday (3:30 pm / Sky).

With nine points from three games "you would suddenly be in good shape," said the SC coach on Friday.

After two victories against Arminia Bielefeld and FC Schalke 04 in a row, "we were already happy and there was a warm calm here", reported Streich: "But now we want more".

Due to the English week and ailing players, changes in the starting XI are “likely”, as Streich announced.

Striker Woo-yeong Jeong broke a finger after coming on as a substitute in Gelsenkirchen and had a minor surgery, but could still be part of the squad.

This also applies to right-back Lukas Kübler, who returned to the regional league after a torn muscle fiber in the Freiburg U23 on Tuesday.
