The assault took place on November 18, but police from the Blagnac criminal squad arrested the three suspects on December 16, after a month of investigation.

That evening in November, a 28-year-old young man took the tram at around 10:30 p.m. to come home from work.

He got into the train at Georges-Brassens station when three people, visibly alcoholic, approach him.

The trio want to steal his backpack.

After threatening him with death, they hit their victim in the face, behind the head and try to hit him with a glass bottle.

The three individuals manage to steal his bag and get off at the next station.

A father and son known to the police

Using CCTV cameras, investigators managed to identify the three suspects: a 40-year-old father known to police for similar facts, his 15-year-old son and a 25-year-old man.

Placed in custody, they admitted the facts, arguing that they had been under the influence of alcohol.

The two adults were indicted and are on trial this Friday in immediate appearance.

The 15-year-old minor was indicted by a children's judge and left free.
