Deggendorf (dpa / lby) - In the Deggendorf district, the number of corona infections continues to rise.

The authorities are reacting to this with additional restrictions at gatherings and in care and senior facilities.

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days was 312.2 on Friday, according to the State Office for Health (LGL).

From Saturday up to and including December 28th, assemblies may only have a maximum of ten participants and last a maximum of 60 minutes.

In addition, everything is forbidden that would make it necessary to remove the mouth and nose protection - e.g. eating, drinking, smoking or using whistles.

Only the same person is allowed to visit care and senior citizens' facilities, for a maximum of four days and also only on presentation of a PCR corona test that is no more than two days old.
