Magali Gil, 25 today, was adopted at birth.
It is his biological mother who would have revealed to him, only two years ago, the name of his possible father:
Diego Maradona
.
During his lifetime, Diego Maradona did not submit to the DNA tests that the young woman requested.
Justice will examine his request, but also that of Santiago Lara, a young Argentinian who also has doubts about his origins.
While the legacy of Diego Maradona is estimated at several tens of millions of euros, some doubt the intentions of these two possible heirs.
Accusations of opportunism
In a video published earlier this month, Magali Gil defended herself against these accusations of opportunism: “
I decided to open this Instagram account to put an end to all the speculations, theories and hypotheses that are circulating about me.
My goal has always been the same: to know if Diego Maradona is my father.
It is a universal right, everyone has the right to know their identity.
I therefore ask everyone to treat this issue with the respect it deserves
”.
Diego Maradona officially had five children, including two daughters from his marriage to Claudia Villafañe.
The "Pibe de oro" is also said to have had three other children in Cuba.
Before his death, he said he wanted to recognize them.
