[Explanation] After a 23-day journey, at 1:59 am on December 17th, the lunar exploration project Chang'e-5 returner successfully landed in the planned area of Siziwang Banner, Inner Mongolia.

That night, after completing the necessary ground handling work, the Chang'e-5 returner was transported back to its "birthplace"-China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Fifth Academy. The Fifth Academy also held a grand welcome ceremony for the Chang'e-5 mission test team.

Excitement is definitely exciting, but it is more of pride. I feel that the development team paid in the past ten years has indeed achieved the results we expected. Although the process was very hard, it could perfectly realize the third phase of the Chinese lunar exploration. At the end of the battle, no one sampled on the moon and returned to this task automatically. I am very proud to participate in this model team and finally successfully complete the mission given to us.

[Explanation] As one of the members of the Chang'e-5 detector development team, Chen Qiwei witnessed the process of the Chang'e-5 returner "home" that night.

Back in time 23 days ago, when he was in Wenchang, Hainan, he watched the Chang'e-5 probe, which had been with each other for ten years, was about to "travel", but he was reluctant.

The final launch state was its most perfect state, and it was slowly watching it grow up for ten years, and finally it was lifted by the Long March 5, which was equivalent to "flying to the moon". To be honest, it was still very reluctant at the time.

Although our return device can come back, the other three brothers and sisters have stayed in space forever, completing their follow-up missions, and may have been wandering outside, so the touch at that time must have been reluctant, or sent "children" "The feeling of traveling.

[Explanation] After the successful launch of the Chang'e-5 probe, after the lunar surface landing, automatic sampling, lunar surface take-off, lunar orbital rendezvous and docking, reentry and return, 23 days later, in the early morning of December 17, Chang'e Five The returner successfully returned to the ground with lunar samples.

Before the ground search team arrived at the returner’s landing site, the cute scene in the live broadcast touched thousands of people. A small animal ran past the returner and reached the scene first.

At that time, there was a small animal that was stealing the spotlight. We were very happy to see it at that time. This animal is more suitable for the scene. Everyone said that it felt like a rabbit. We came back with gifts from the Moon Palace. A small animal came to welcome it.

At that time, seeing it safely landed, the entire mission or the entire development "landed". Although we are very confident, we really saw it finally safely recovered and landed safely, and I felt that the mission was fulfilled.

[Explanation] Less than 20 hours after landing, the Chang'e-5 returner returned to the "birthplace" on the day of landing.

At the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, a red carpet paved welcoming channel opened, and people on both sides held up electronic cards and waved flags to welcome Chang'e 5 to "home".

After it landed, we searched. This time, the search went smoothly. After the search was found, we started the final assembly work after landing, and then flew to Beijing in the form of airplanes and airlifts, and finally pulled them from the airport in Beijing by car. When we came to Aerospace City, we had just returned to our "birthplace". Finally, we used a car to pull and wear a small red flower. So everyone can see this very excited and can see it return very smoothly and perfectly.

[Explanation] It is reported that the National Space Administration will select an opportunity to hold a handover ceremony to officially hand over lunar samples to the ground application system.

China's first extraterrestrial celestial body sample storage, analysis and research related work will also start.
