“I also instructed the Domodedovo administration and the Ministry of Emergency Situations from tomorrow to block the accessible entrances to the caves and establish video surveillance of the surrounding area so that this does not happen again,” Vorobyov wrote in his Telegram channel.
He also instructed to check how and on what grounds the excursion to the caves was organized, and to assess the actions of the responsible persons.
The Governor of the Moscow Region clarified that at present nothing threatens the life and health of the children.
On the evening of December 17, a group of athletes, including eight children, disappeared in the Syana caves in the Domodedovo urban district near Moscow.
All of them were later found.
