Thirteen victims.

Thirteen boys aged around ten who have all been sexually assaulted by a recidivist man.

Thursday, a 52-year-old former soldier was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine) criminal court for multiple sexual assaults on minors.

The facts had taken place within the Catholic school outside the Sainte-Marie contract, based in Saint-Père-Marc-en-Poulet, not far from the corsair city, reports

The man had already been tried in 2010 for the same facts, at the same place and at the same period.

In the past, this former soldier had already been sentenced to sixteen years in prison for rape of minors.

Incarcerated in Guyana, the defendant was kept in detention.

He is now prohibited from exercising a professional or voluntary activity with minors for the rest of his life.

He also has an obligation of care.
