Wustermark (dpa / bb) - A person was killed in a traffic accident on federal highway 5 between Zeestow and Wustermark (Havelland district).

A truck is said to have run into a car on Wednesday afternoon for reasons that are still unknown, a police spokesman said on Thursday.

Accordingly, the car came off the road, overturned and caught fire.

One inmate died at the scene of the accident.

So far, there was no information on the cause of the accident or the identity of the dead person.
