DRC: pro-Kabila start a legal fight against the dismissal of Jeanine Mabunda

A week ago, Congolese deputies dismissed the president of the National Assembly, Jeanine Mabunda, as well as the office.
But supporters of ex-President Joseph Kabila are attacking the procedure they consider tainted with corruption.

The movement close to Joseph Kabila explains having included in the file videos in which several deputies explained having received bribes.
The NOGEC thus asks the prosecutor to launch a flagrance procedure, to avoid having to go through the National Assembly in the event of the arrest of an elected official, for example.

".

plunge the country into the abyss
".
He waits for justice to determine the corrupt and the sponsors.
In the meantime, he condemns “
service coinage
” and calls for “
the emergence of a new political class
”.
For his part, Simon Kalenga, spokesperson for the presidential party UDPS said he was calm.
According to him, on the videos which circulate, the supposedly corrupt deputies are ironic.
"
I don't see the FCC corrupting itself to bring down its own office,
" he said of pro-Kabila.
A complaint from the ousted office
But there is also another procedure, the one launched by the members
of the ousted office
.
They lodged an appeal with the Council of State, believing that it is up to them to act as interim until the election of their successors.
However, they have been replaced by an age office with the dean of elected officials at its head.
“
We go from one violation of the texts to another.
It is up to the ousted office to do the interim.
But there is pressure on the justice system in this case,
”said PPRD deputy François Nzékuyé.
