  Unlike some forecasting models, the overall forecast of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention only provides forecasts for the next few weeks.

The previous forecast was released on December 10, local time, and it is expected that there will be 362,000 deaths from new coronary pneumonia by January 2.

  According to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, at least 307,512 people in the United States have died of new coronary pneumonia.
