Belarusian rebel Chihanovskaya, who received the Sakharov Prize award ceremony for those who have contributed to the protection of human rights by the EU-European Union parliament, sought further support.

The Sakharov Prize is presented annually by the European Parliament to individuals and organizations that have contributed to the protection of human rights in honor of former Soviet physicist Andrei Sakharov, who won the Nobel Prize.

The winners of this year were rebels who continue to protest against President Lukashenko, who allegedly won the presidential election in Belarus in August.

The award ceremony was held at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium on the 16th, and the awards were handed out by Chair Sassori to the rebels who attended.

After that, Mr. Chihanovskaya made a speech on behalf of the rebels, saying that it was an award given to all those who protested, and said, "Take more courageous action in Europe and support the people of Belarus. I want to ask. "

The rebels are planning a large-scale demonstration on the 20th of this month, and will continue to protest against President Lukashenko's resignation.
