When the Capercaillie released its first biconcave gourd, France had not yet experienced either of the two great world conflicts.
One hundred and eight years later, it is still made from the original mold, using a period process that can leave traces on the metal, a sort of guaranteed label.

A beautiful story, that of the Zeste gourd.
To produce their creation in France, the designer couple Christopher Santerre and Clara Rivière had to convince an industrialist to adapt his production tool and recreate a production chain.
It was the Guy Degrenne factory that took up the challenge and can today be proud of producing the first 100% French stainless steel bottle for Zeste.

It's been ten years since Gobi launched its gourds to conquer our tote bags.
The company already claims more than 5,000 tonnes of waste avoided but does not intend to stop there.
This year, it is launching the Gobi Indoor, the first glass bottle entirely made in France.
