The Blue House said that President Moon Jae-in met Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae at the Blue House and received a report of the decision of the Prosecutors' Disciplinary Committee of the Ministry of Justice against Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.

Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok said in a letter sent to reporters a while ago that "President Moon Jae-in is receiving a report of the results of the disciplinary committee resolution from Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae."

Minister Chu is known to have visited the Blue House right after a joint briefing on reform of power institutions held at the Seoul Government Complex on the afternoon of the 16th.

Minister Chu's visit to the Blue House appears to be to request President Moon's appropriation for the disciplinary action after the Ministry of Justice's Prosecutor and Disciplinary Committee reported the decision to dismiss Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol for two months of suspension this morning.

Considering the sensitivity of the matter, it seems that it was decided that the results and background of the disciplinary committee should be explained to the president through a face-to-face report rather than the usual electronic payment method.

As Minister Chu's face-to-face report is made today, it is predicted that there is a high possibility that Moon's disciplinary bill will be granted within today.

The Blue House has stated that it is impossible for the President to refuse enforcement or to increase or decrease the level of disciplinary action if the disciplinary committee makes a decision.

However, even if President Moon stays in office, it is expected that Yun will go to a legal suit, such as a request for suspension of enforcement against discipline, and the pain will likely continue for some time.
