Positive opening for European markets.

The Milan Ftse Mib index marks + 0.7%, yesterday + 0.8%, the best stock exchange on the continent after Frankfurt.

Today in the rest of Europe London + 0.8%, Frankfurt + 1.26%, Paris + 0.9%.

The markets have come from a positive day, yesterday, thanks to the news on vaccines - in Europe the advance of the meeting of the drug authority on that of Pfizer, in the United States the first positive indications of the FDA on that of Moderna.

Yesterday on Wall Street records for the Nasdaq and also S&P 500 and Dow Jones well, also because the parliamentary leaders of Democrats and Republicans said that the agreement for a 748 billion dollar stimulus plan for the economy is very close.

These news prevailed over the negative ones on the front of contagions, deaths and lockdowns arrived from various parts of Europe.

Asian stock exchanges were also positive overnight, especially Hong Kong, + 1%.

And in this climate of hope on the effectiveness of vaccines, the price of oil remains high, with Brent still above $ 50 and a half a barrel, despite a drop of 0.3% today.

Record low yesterday for the yield of the ten-year Italian BTP, + 0.52%.

Today it is stable, like the spread with the German Bund yield, at 112 basis points.

Among the securities in evidence above all banks.

Among the best Banco Bpm (+ 1.18%), which yesterday exercised the call on the 65% held by Cattolica in the insurance joint ventures Vera Vita and Vera Assicurazioni.

Conversely, Cattolica fell by 4.4%.

According to some observers, this move could strengthen the hypothesis of a merger with Bper Banca, stable today (-0.07%), while its first shareholder, Unipol, + 1.94%, the best share of the Ftse Mib, rises.
