Kassel (AP) - After a car accident in Kassel with a naked person at the wheel, the man's identity has now been clarified.
According to the police on Wednesday, it is a 50-year-old from Kassel.
He was so badly injured in the accident that he was initially unresponsive.
"Since his health improved, he could now provide information about his identity," said the police.
Why he was behind the wheel without clothes and drove unrestrained into a green area is still unclear, as is the origin of his car sharing vehicle.
The man was thrown out of the car in the accident last Saturday evening and was seriously injured.
Rescue workers found the man naked outside the car.
