In late November, Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, posted a photo montage on Twitter.
The montage shows a grinning Australian soldier pressing a blood-streaked knife to the throat of an Afghan child.
The background to this is that the Australian Army admitted war crimes in Afghanistan in November.
