In late November, Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, posted a photo montage on Twitter.

The montage shows a grinning Australian soldier pressing a blood-streaked knife to the throat of an Afghan child.

The background to this is that the Australian Army admitted war crimes in Afghanistan in November.

The incident is part of a long line of controversy between China and Australia. The People's Republic has been spreading wild allegations against Down Under for months. Experts say China wants to "make an example" in Australia; test your limits.
