Apple said on Monday that it has begun rolling out new labels on privacy practices for apps;

For users to see it before downloading it from the App Store.

And Apple announced the stickers at the developer conference last June, and through it, it seeks to quickly transfer information to users about the applications that collect data of various kinds, and are somewhat similar to nutrition labels on food products.

Apple asked developers to provide information about ratings last week as part of the review process for releasing or updating apps.

The stickers will be updated continuously as developers submit their apps for approval to Apple, and users will be able to see them before downloading or updating the app.

Apple will request disclosures about when the apps collect data and what type of data it considers "tracking" of users across unrelated apps or websites.

The developers will be able to provide explanations for the data collection;

But users will have to click on two sets of links to see the explanation.

Developers are responsible for the accuracy of the information;

But Apple said that compliance will be verified during the app review process, during random audits and responding to complaints.

The stickers are part of a broader set of changes that Apple introduced this year to provide more notifications and permission requirements to collect data on its devices.

The requirement for new notifications to be submitted to users has sparked protests from companies such as Facebook.

Several digital advertisers said users would likely refuse to collect their data;

Due to the new notification rule.

The rule was to come into effect this year;

But Apple said it would delay implementation until early 2021 to give developers more time to make changes to their apps.
