The candles are Kalmar municipality's way of highlighting exciting elements in the cityscape.
- The lighting on Grimskär has been set up in collaboration with the Swedish Property Agency and is of a temporary nature.
It will be lit until the end of January, says Björn Strimfors who is a city gardener in Kalmar.
The plan is for permanent lighting of Grimskär to be set up by the summer.
It should then shine during all the dark hours of the day, all year round.
