Göttingen (dpa / lni) - After an accident with a dangerous goods transporter, the Autobahn 7 in the direction of Hanover was closed on Tuesday morning near Hedemünden (Göttingen district).
According to the motorway police, the 24-year-old driver of a semitrailer truck drove into a truck driving ahead that had loaded 25 liters of the fragrance lauric aldehyde.
The substance classified as hazardous was released.
Nobody was injured in the accident.
The road had to be completely closed due to the clean-up work.
Traffic to the north was diverted at Hedemünden.
