Gießen (AP) - The basketball players from Syntainics MBC celebrated their second victory in a row on Tuesday.

The Weißenfelser kept the upper hand at Jobstairs Giessen 46ers with 105: 93 (46:49) and thus made the leap into the secured midfield.

Shavon Coleman (27), Michal Michalak (25) and Quinton Hooker (21) had the largest share of the success.

Brandon Thomas and Jonathan Stark (22 each) scored the most points for Gießen.

After the 93:85 success in Göttingen, the Central Germans started the game with a lot of self-confidence and led after twelve minutes with 32:22.

But suddenly the thread broke.

Giessen was just ahead at the break.

But the MBC played superbly for six minutes in the third quarter and converted a 56:57 (24th) into a comfortable 83:66 lead.

The Weißenfelsers couldn't take this advantage out of their hands in the last quarter, mainly thanks to their outstanding three-way quota (14 hits in 30 throws).
