Lebanon and the UAE = United Arab Emirates have lifted import restrictions on Japanese marine products that have continued since the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.

After the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, Lebanon has continued to require inspections for radioactive substances when importing Japanese food and feed.

The UAE also required similar inspections for marine products produced in Fukushima Prefecture.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, both the Lebanese and UAE governments have abolished all of these measures on December 10, which has resulted in the export of food and marine products to the targeted areas. It will be easier.

On the other hand, 16 countries and regions such as China and Taiwan continue to regulate imports from some parts of Japan, and the government will continue to work to remove the regulations.
