Rostock (dpa / mv) - The third division footballers of FC Hansa Rostock want to rehabilitate themselves for the 0-2 home defeat against SV Meppen.
With a win at FC Ingolstadt, the Mecklenburgers could also overtake the hosts in the table today (7 p.m. / Magentasport).
Rostock is sixth with 23 points, Ingolstadt is fourth with 24 points.
Nico Neidhart will once again play an important role in Hansa coach Jens Härtel's system.
The 26-year-old defender, who was on the field in all 15 games of the season over the full season, extended his contract early on Tuesday until June 30, 2024.
"He is an important cornerstone of the team on our defense," said Hansa's sports director Martin Pieckenhagen.
