According to French official arrangements, starting from the 15th, people will no longer need a travel certificate to travel during the day.

However, due to the restoration of the curfew on the 15th, people still need a travel certificate to go out during the curfew.

The official stated that it will strengthen inspections during the curfew period, and those who violate the curfew or who do not carry a travel certificate will face penalties.

Since France was unable to achieve the "unblocking" target of reducing the number of new confirmed cases in a single day to less than 5,000 on the 15th, the government has made substantial adjustments to the "unblocking" plan.

After France resumes the curfew on the 15th, the curfew will start at 8 pm and end at 6 am the next morning; there will be no curfew on Christmas Day, but the curfew will still be imposed on New Year’s Eve on December 31.

France imposed a curfew in October, and the curfew was from 9 pm to 6 am the next morning.

French Prime Minister Castel stated on the 15th that if the epidemic situation does not improve after the Christmas and New Year holidays, he cannot guarantee that restaurants and cafes will reopen on January 20 next year.

He said it is currently unclear when the restaurant will reopen.

Restaurants and cafes have been closed for a month and a half since France implemented the second national "closed city" on October 30.

In this regard, Castel said that the closure of relevant venues is a "heart-wrenching" decision, but it is necessary to control the epidemic.

He said that many European countries have also made similar decisions.

Castel pointed out that when the restaurant will reopen will depend on "all of us" and on how people spend the Christmas and New Year holidays safely.

He warned that holiday celebrations may help accelerate the spread of the virus, so people must be jointly responsible for their actions.

In addition, French officials decided that cultural venues such as museums, theaters, and cinemas could not be reopened on the 15th. This opening time may be postponed to January next year.

Castel stated that he will evaluate whether cultural venues can be reopened together with the Minister of Culture on January 7 next year.

According to the epidemic data released by the French Ministry of Health on the evening of the 15th, there were 11,532 newly confirmed cases in a single day in France on the 15th, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases was close to 2.4 million, or 2,391,447. The number of deaths from new coronary pneumonia in France is now 59,072, with 790 new deaths. (Finish)
