The agents of the Perthus customs brigade (Pyrénées-Orientales), on the border between France and Spain, have discovered in recent days 121 kg of cannabis resin, in a moving van, on the A9 motorway.

The packages containing the drugs were concealed in the partitions of the vehicle, which arrived from Spain and which was going to Italy, indicate the customs of Perpignan.

But customs officials have had a hollow nose in recent days.

They also seized, a few hours later, 138 kg of cannabis resin in the trailer of a heavy truck arriving from Barcelona (Spain).

The drugs were in garbage bags, hidden in the truck's pallet rack, officers discovered during a search.

Finally, the control of a car made it possible, on a rest area of ​​the A9, to find the sum of 50,000 euros, well hidden in the door.

It is a dog trained to find drugs from customs officers who spotted the banknotes, thus confirming a possible link between this money and drug trafficking, customs said.
