Shortly after 5.30 p.m., we could no longer get along in Montpellier (Hérault) and the surrounding area: the warning sirens, intended to alert residents in the event of major risks, sounded for long minutes on Tuesday after- midday.

And, on social networks, many Internet users were surprised, especially on Twitter.

"Is it normal for the sirens to sound?"

Anthony asks himself.

"Do not give me blue fears like that with the alarm", growls, for her part, Marie-Claude.

"On the verge of preparing an antinuclear shelter", wrote another Internet user.
