In addition, in order to eliminate waiting-list children waiting for the vacancy of the nursery school, we will prepare a childcare tray for about 140,000 children in the four years until the end of 2024, while providing special benefits for children's allowance to secure the financial resources. From October 2022 onward, we have included the exclusion of people with an annual income of 12 million yen or more.



In addition, in order to promote male participation in childcare, private companies have also announced that they will be encouraged to take childcare leave.



To implement these measures, the government will submit the necessary bill to the ordinary session of the Diet next year.
