Hagen (dpa / lnw) - The corpse of the partner had numerous stab wounds and cuts: A 25-year-old man from Hagen has to answer for manslaughter in court from today.

The defendant is said to have stabbed the woman on June 9 or 10, 2020.

The doctors later counted 49 stab wounds and cuts.

The motive according to the indictment: jealousy and anger.

The Hagen jury pointed out in advance that a conviction for murder could also be considered.

The police found the woman's body less than a week after the alleged crime when they wanted to arrest the 25-year-old and have him extradited to Serbia. There he was sentenced to twelve years in prison for human trafficking in 2018.
