The Minister of Education, Isabel Celaá, has denied the PP on Monday and has denied that their autonomous communities have advanced the process of admitting students to circumvent compliance with the Lomloe.

"It is a political strategy that seeks to confuse the public. There is no such advance," he stressed by videoconference after holding a

with regional councilors.

The leader of the

popular

,

Pablo Casado

, announced this Saturday that Madrid, Murcia and other regions were going to "advance the registration period" of the students for the 2021/2021 academic year so that "it is not affected by the limitations of the Law Celaá ".

A kind of legal shortcut to declare in absentia against the reform that the PSOE itself censured on Sunday for being "an educational trap."

Casado also said that he will do everything possible so that Lomloe "does not affect the freedom of the families" of the concerted school, nor will they allow to give the title with suspensions and that in Galicia Castilian will continue as a vehicular language with Galician.

But the minister pointed out this Monday that "it is not true that the admission period is advanced to December as a way to circumvent the application of the Lomloe."

"It is false," he stressed, "they have been doing it on a regular basis."

He explained that, last year, the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid published its resolution to initiate the beginning of the admission process on December 18, 2019. The Ministry has provided a copy of that document.

The minister has also indicated that, in 2017, the resolution was published on December 2.

"It is a habitual administrative procedure, there is no such advance. I recommend to the spokesmen of the PP that they worry more about applying educational measures and use the funds well," he warned.

Will the Government act against the insubordination of the PP?

"I do not even observe the possibility that a political force could incite non-compliance with the law," Celaá replied.
