Singapore has approved the use of a COVID-19 vaccine developed by US pharmaceutical company Pfizer and German Bioentech.



According to local media, Prime Minister Li Xianlong said he expects the vaccination to begin at the end of the year.



Prime Minister Lee also said, "By the third quarter of next year (July-September), we expect to have enough vaccines for everyone and will be provided free of charge to citizens and long-term residents."
