Schwerin (dpa / mv) - Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD) defended the decision to keep the daycare centers in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania open against criticism and referred to positive reactions.
“Today I have a lot of messages from parents who have to work in the next few days and are happy that their children in #MV can continue to use the daycare.
In regular operation with hygiene concepts and not in emergency groups, ”wrote Schwesig on Monday on Twitter.
After the daycare centers and schools were open again after the first lockdown, there were no significant increases in corona cases, argued the head of government.
But Schwesig also met with opposition on Twitter.
