Today, Monday, a nurse in New York received the first vaccine against Covid-19 in the United States, the country worst affected by the emerging coronavirus in the world.

Sandra Lindsey, a nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, was vaccinated with the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) vaccine by Dr. Michael Chester of Northwell Health at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, New York.

US President Donald Trump wrote on Twitter, "The first vaccine received. Congratulations to the United States. Congratulations to the world."
