An Israeli channel shed light on the activities of Israeli murderers and drug dealers who recently fled to Dubai, after the normalization of relations between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv last September.

The Israeli Channel 12 said on its website Sunday that with the entry into force of the normalization agreement between Israel and the UAE, Israeli criminals - some of whom were wanted in cases of murder and drug trafficking - fled to Dubai and merged with it.

She explained that they fled to Dubai shortly before the Israeli police issued arrest warrants against them.

A senior Israeli police officer confirmed that some criminals who fled to Dubai were involved in smuggling 750 kilograms of cocaine from Guatemala, which were seized last month in the southern Israeli port of Ashdod, as well as the smuggling of 3.2 tons of cocaine that was supposed to be transported from Belgium to Israel.

The officer added, "We have information about those involved and we will reach everyone who will be serving their sentences in Israel. We have a lot of patience and information about their activities."

According to the channel, the talk is about a number of senior criminals who became famous in Jaffa and Haifa (north), and some of them entered into partnerships in the Emirates through agents, and bought apartments and souvenir shops there, while others bought gold and diamonds, and sold goods to businessmen in other countries. So that the Israeli police do not follow their activities.

The channel quoted an Israeli criminal who visited Dubai about 10 days ago and met some of the top criminals who fled to the Emirates, saying: "In Dubai, they don't ask you many questions. Do you have money? Come and invest and be a partner."

"We are talking about millions of dollars that flowed from Israel to Dubai through people running legal businesses in Israel, but these criminals are the ones who are behind the funding," he said.

In addition, Israeli criminals who were fleeing in Romania, Ukraine and South Africa recently arrived in Dubai to discuss establishing partnerships in building housing projects and hotels, according to the same source.

On the 6th of this month, the same channel published its first report on the transfer of prominent leaders in Israeli crime organizations to the UAE.

In mid-September, Israel and the UAE signed an agreement to normalize relations between them under the auspices of the United States, and subsequently signed several cooperation agreements, including an agreement on mutual exemption of entry visas.
