Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered all of his security services to make the matter a priority.

A spokesperson for the presidency, Shehu Garba, claims that the perpetrators of the mass kidnapping were located in a forest in Katsina state.

“

I feel like I'm coming back from hell.

I had the reflex to jump out of my dormitory window, as soon as I heard the first shots, I ran, ran before taking refuge in the bush where I spent the night.

 "

These words are those of Kabir Isah, which appeared in this Sunday's edition of the

Daily Trust

, a Nigerian daily.

Kabir is one of the survivors of this mass raid and kidnapping committed in his secondary school in Kankara.

This public high school in Katsina State usually accommodates 900 boys.

Several dozen students did not have the chance to Kabir and would always fail to call to the dismay of their families.

The exact number of victims remains unknown.

Many voices in Nigeria are calling for the unconditional release of these high school students from Kankara.

Aminu Masari, the governor of the state of Katsina has decreed the temporary closure of all public schools accommodating students in boarding schools.

"

Safe bankruptcy

 " for the opposition

Many are also those who challenge the Nigerian Head of State Muhammadu Buhari.

In the opposition, the People's Democratic Party calls for the opening of an impeachment procedure, because "

this kidnapping in the State of origin of the Head of State illustrates his security bankruptcy, while he was elected on the promise of guaranteeing safety to all

 ”.

Currently on a long weekend in Daura, in his stronghold in Katsina state, President Buhari mobilized his personal guard on Saturday and Sunday on various national media.

Its objective is to erase the clichés of a president on a weekend in his native state receiving a horse and a saber, gifts offered by the Emir of Daura (religious and traditional state of northern Nigeria, Editor's note).
