At 8 o'clock in the morning on December 13, a ceremony of raising the national flag and lowering the flag at half-mast was held on the assembly square of the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.

December 13 is the National Memorial Day for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre.

At 10 am, the National Memorial Ceremony for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre will be held at the Memorial Hall of the Victims in the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.

On the morning of the 13th, in the center of the rally square, "Nanjing Massacre National Commemorative Ceremony" in white characters was particularly eye-catching against the black "Wall of Disaster".

In the morning light, the guard of honor, neatly dressed and flag-shouldered, walked to the center of the assembly square in vigor.

Accompanied by the high-pitched national anthem, the bright five-star red flag rose slowly, and then the flag was lowered at half-mast to mourn the memory of the victims of the Nanjing Massacre and all those killed by the Japanese invaders during the Japanese imperialist war of aggression against China.

On February 27, 2014, China legislated December 13 as the National Memorial Day for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre.

From December 13th of that year, the Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese Invaders has become a fixed venue for the National Memorial Ceremony of the Nanjing Massacre.
