In very small format, of course, but let's face it, the Haute-Garonne ski resorts will be open for the Christmas holidays.
The departmental council, manager of the areas of Luchon-Superbagnères, Mourtis and Bourg d'Oueil, via Haute-Garonne Montagne, announces the partial opening of the three resorts as of Saturday, December 19.
The ski lifts being banned for health reasons by the government, holidaymakers will have to be content with tobogganing areas, Nordic skiing courses, and snowshoeing.

But with some original features to get around the obstacle, such as the Luchon-Superbagnères valley lift which escapes the restrictions because it is fortunate to be considered as “interurban transport”.
At Mourtis, pitchouns will even be able to put on their alpine skis since the “Espace petit skier” does not have a ski lift but, to be sure, a conveyor belt.

To ensure these partial openings while waiting for the grand schuss of January 7 (well, for now), Haute-Garonne Montagne has hired 110 seasonal workers.
The manager has also decided to extend its pre-sales packages and promotional offers until January 15.
