The party had "developed into the parliamentary arm of those who refuse to wear masks," he told the political magazine "Cicero" at the weekend.

In this respect, she had to put up with the accusation “that she shares responsibility for the fact that too many people think they should forego masks and other protective measures”.
According to Dulig, there are various causes for the persistent rise in infections.
"But it is of course still noticeable that the number of mask refusers in Saxony is the highest nationwide."
There is also the greatest skepticism about corona measures here.
“Wherever distance and hygiene rules are observed, the incidences are lower than in regions where there is a higher tendency to refuse.
And if you overlay maps with the AfD election results and the numbers of infected people, you can quickly come to the conclusion that there is a connection. "
According to Dulig, the AfD has made itself a “supporter of a mask boycott”.
She shares responsibility for the fact that the number of those who refused to take the measures is higher, and she uses the corona situation to create political opinion.
"At the moment, a person in Saxony dies of a Covid 19 infection every 20 minutes," said the politician.
"It is irresponsible that one can seriously claim today that one can do without masks and distance."
