RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that several thousand people gathered at Roman Dmowski Square in the center of the Polish capital.

Despite the demands of the police to disperse and warnings about the illegality of the action, the demonstrators took to the road, blocking traffic on some streets of Warsaw.

According to the agency, the protesters are opposed not only against the abortion law, but also against "harsh police actions" during such actions.

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki condemned the country's protests against the abortion ban.

On October 22, Gazeta.Ru wrote that the Constitutional Court of Poland found the provision of legislation that allows termination of pregnancy to be terminated in the event of a serious and irreversible defect or an incurable disease threatening its life found in the fetus as inconsistent with the Constitution.
