Schleswig (dpa / lno) - A 35-year-old patient from forensic psychiatry in Schleswig did not return from going to the clinic on Saturday.
The Itzehoe public prosecutor's office and the Flensburg Police Department initiated a public search.
A spokeswoman for the Helios Clinic in Schleswig announced on Sunday that the man was admitted to closed psychiatry by the Itzehoe regional court for several arson attacks under the influence of alcohol.
The 35-year-old did not appear through violent behavior.
It can be assumed that there is currently no immediate danger from him.
The patient has been allowed to go unaccompanied for half a year, with no incidents so far, it said.
