Wang Lin, chairman of the China Children’s Charity Relief Foundation, told reporters that the donated funds for the charity project will be used to carry out vision screenings for children from disadvantaged families in old, young, borderline and poor areas, and to provide medical treatment to children who are ill. Children who have been screened out in poverty-stricken areas and who do have vision defects will be given glasses, so that many difficult children with eye diseases can be treated.
