Dresden (dpa) - The applicant for the "lateral thinking" demonstration in Dresden is proceeding according to his own statements against the ban confirmed by the court.

He lodged a constitutional complaint with the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe on Saturday morning and was waiting for the decision, said Marcus Fuchs of the German Press Agency.

The city had banned the planned rally against the Corona policy, both the Dresden Administrative Court and the Saxon Higher Administrative Court (OVG) in Bautzen had confirmed the decision.

At the beginning of December, the Federal Constitutional Court had recently confirmed the ban on a "lateral thinker" demonstration in Bremen.
