This was reported by TASS with reference to a statement by the participants in the EU summit.

"The summit instructs the EU Council to adopt an additional black list based on the decision of November 11, 2019, concerning restrictive measures due to the illegal activities of Turkey in the Mediterranean Sea," the document says.

The report emphasizes that "Turkey continues its unilateral and provocative actions, and has also intensified its rhetoric against the EU, EU member states and European leaders."

In addition, it is specified that the European Council instructed the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell to work on a proposal to hold a multilateral conference on the Eastern Mediterranean.

Earlier, the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling on the European Union to impose sanctions against Turkey for Ankara's behavior in the Mediterranean.
